                     ABOUT ME & YOGA

It was in the basement of a friends house that I first discovered my love of Yoga. I was in my 20's and a little lost in life.
Not sure who I was supposed to be or what my purpose was. I sat cross-legged on the floor, placed my hands in prayer pose at my chest & closed my eyes..... And so my journey began. 

My passion for Yoga blossomed many years later when I was given an opportunity to teach from a friends very small studio. 
I felt a great desire to share all that I had learned. I wished for others to know the many great benefits that Yoga had to offer on all levels of being - mentally, physically, emotionally & spiritually.

I found that by embracing life fully & flowing with it, instead of against it, were the times I found the greatest inner peace & happiness.
Yoga for me personally had become a way to heal & feel comfortable in my own skin. A means of personal growth - teaching me to surrender what it was that I thought I SHOULD be in order to become exactly what I was created to be......  

Through the practice of Yoga I discovered acceptance of self, my own potential, allowing me to find more joy in life.
An appreciation of the abundance I received daily through trust & gratitude.
The union of heart, mind & body which has allowed me the freedom for growth. 

The journey of Yoga is an inward search to find the true essence of who we are, the very best within us & then learn to express that every day in our bodies, minds and hearts.

You too can begin your journey from where you are right now!!

WHAT WILL YOU GAIN FROM COMING TO MY CLASSES?
My devotion to teaching Yoga from the heart is my gift to you. 
Your yoga mat will become the personal space that you create for yourself, where you will be guided, inspired, supported and encouraged in a nurturing way.
You will learn about yourself - through the practice of breath and body movement allowing you to experience a sense of union of mind, body & spirit.
Come as you are - leave your worries at the door. It doesn't matter if you have never done Yoga before or if you can't touch your toes.
You are guaranteed to float from the Yoga room, relaxed on all levels, having shed layers of stress and with a sense of calm and peace within.
